the whfta 2023 session and group lists can be found by clicking the links below. it is important competitors know their session for each day as timings differ for each session, please can competitors ensure they have checked their session for each day, we don't want you guys arriving at the incorrect time. Timings are discussed in more detail a little later.

what do i do on the day when i arrive?
first things first, make sure you know what session you are shooting in by following the links above. next, make sure you have you read the event timings shown below and you know what time you will be able to book in for your respective session.
we advise people arrive based around their session, but if you do want to turn up early you are more than welcome to do so, but you won't be able to head on to the zero range etc. at the same time as the am session competitors if you are shooting in the pm session.
finally when you session booking in opens, head on over to the booking in tent and book in. we ask that, as nice as it is to chat to our lovely booking in folk that you keep on moving. we have a lot of people to get booked in! on day 1 this is where you'll receive you awesome whfta 2023 goody bag!

What is event programme and timings for whfta 2023?
Below is the forecast of event timings and sequencing. As with everything in life, flexibility is required, so some of the none key timings may shift slightly. however, the session start times will not be brought forward and are considered fixed.

What are the prizes up for grabs in the WHFTA 2023 Raffle?
We are absolutely blessed to have such amazing sponsors and supporters of us at whfta. we truly mean that, all our sponsors and supporters 'get' what we are striving to achieve.
All sponsorship prizes go into the 'whfta mega raffle'. this raffle is drawn at the end of day 1, where a competitors entry into whfta 2023 is their entry into the raffle. competitors have to be present to to claim their prize if drawn!
every competitor has a single entry into the raffle and if drawn, is given a raffle prize from the huge wealth of prizes on the table. their entry cannot then be redrawn. PRIZES ARE HANDED OUT IN DESCENDING ORDER.

what are the catering arrangements for whfta 2023?
leave your packed lunches at home people. we have some legit catering for whfta 2023. from brews to burgers everything is catered for. all food produce is locally sourced as well and take it from us, it is damn tasty!

Apart from the absolute world class hft competition there is plenty to keep whfta 2023 competitors entertained. where do we begin....
side shoots
there will be a number of really cool sideshoots taking place at whfta 2023, including trialling a beta of a brand new airgun discipline! whfta 2023 competitors get to take part in a beta of something completely new, this is something we've been asked to get involved with by some of the manufacturers, let me tell you, it's pretty darn mega!
Sideshoots are £1.00 per go and there will be prizes for the winners..... not that hft'ers get competitive over this sort of thing........
JSB trial range
This is pretty epic. The good folk from JSB are attending WHFTA, not only are they attending but there is going to be a bespoke JSB trial range where WHFTA 2023 Competitors can try the latest JSB batches of ammunition and chat direct to the JSB Team. But wait there is more…….
Once you have carefully selected the best pellet(s), you can then purchase your chosen pellet at a heavily discounted rate. How mega is that!?
This offer is only available for WHFTA 2023 Competitors (everyone’s entry will act as confirmation to purchase).

absolutely! there will no less than 7 whfta world champions this year.
what is the whfta overall champion?
this is the individual with the Cumulative highest score over the two days competition. this indvidual can come from any class. so, if a junior slams in the highest score over the weekend they take the honours!
In the event of this being a tie, as per other class trophy positions there will be a shoot of to decide the victor. irrespective of class, all shoot offs will be conducted in line with whfta rules, section 16.4
