We are pleased to announce that for whfta 2024 the option to camp at the whfta 2024 venue is now available. but before you all go reaching for your tents, please have a careful read of the information below.

How much is camping at whfta 2024 and how do i secure my spot and pay?

camping at whfta 2024 is £10.00 per person per night. to secure your place please complete the form below. WHEN WE RECIEVE THE COMPLETED CONTACT FORM WE'LL ASK YOU FOR A LITTLE MORE INFORMATION AND ALSO ASK YOU TO AGREE TO THE T&C'S. ONLY ONCE WE HAVE RECIEVED THIS CONFIRMATION WILL YOU BE FORMALLY ADDED TO THE WHFTA 2024 CAMPING LIST. payment will be taken at whfta 2024.

How many nights can i stay for?

camping will be available for both the friday and saturday night. at the request of the landowner sunday night will not be available for camping.

What facilities are available for campers?

there will be toilets located on the campsite. there are unfortunately no shower facilites or any facilities to refill water available. ADDITIONALLY THE EXPECTATION IS THAT ALL THOSE CAMPING WILL TAKE ALL LITTER WITH THEM WHEN THEY LEAVE. what we suggest is that those wishing to camp are self sufficient.

when can i arrive to camp for whfta 2024?

those wishing to camp can arrive from 1500 on Friday 6th September. 

are dogs allowed?

dogs are not allowed on the grounds during whfta 2024. there is a significant amount of very rare livestock on site and at the request of the landowner dogs are not allowed for obvious reasons. Guide and care dogs are allowed.

ARE OPEN FIRES ALLOWED?

NO! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE OPEN FIRES ALLOWED. BBQ'S ARE PERMITTED HOWEVER, THESE MUST BE SELF CONTAINED AND NOT DIRECTLY IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND.

is there anything else I should know about camping?

anyone camping at whfta 2024 is expected to treat the grounds with respect. campers are representing the wider shooting community, negative actions will impact both the event and future shooting events.

WHFTA does not hold any responsibility for the loss or damage to property whilst camping at whfta 2024. Those camping at whfta 2024 do so at their own risk.
