WHFTA 2025
So, what do you get as part of your WHFTA 2025 Entry?
First and foremost, you get to compete in one of the world’s largest airgun events of the year and definitely the largest HFT event in the 2025 calendar. There is the opportunity to test your HFT prowess on two of the most testing 30 shot HFT courses that can be devised. Our course setters this year are genuine masters at their craft, and we envisage that both courses will be truly fitting of an event of this scale, so bring your “A game” and get plenty of practice in!
Along with the world class courses you get the opportunity to rub shoulders with some truly exceptional HFT talent who are more than happy to share some of their lessons with us mere HFT mortals on our quest for HFT greatness.
If trophy hunting isn’t your thing don’t worry as there is a boat load more going on....
We are generously supported by some of the largest names in the airgun and shooting world who provide us with an insane amount of sponsorship prizes. For context the total value of prizes on the table for our 2024 event was around £22,000 and we expect this year to exceed that! These prizes don’t necessarily go to the most talented HFT competitors, these prizes are raffled off whereby your WHFTA 2025 entry is your “raffle ticket”. So, in theory you could have an absolute stinker of a shoot and walkaway with an epic prize! The only condition is that you must be present for the raffle draw to claim your prize.
Away from the courses and plethora of prizes, airgun ammunition giants JSB will be in attendance with their bespoke JSB booth. WHFTA 2025 competitors will have access to the JSB trial area and test range where competitors can sample the latest batches of JSB pellets direct from the guys from JSB. Not only do you get the chance to rigorously test pellet samples, but you get the opportunity to buy pellets directly from JSB once you’ve found the right batch for your rifle. This opportunity is completely unique to WHFTA events. We will also be potentially running “Advanced Access” to a limited number of WHFTA 2025 competitors the Friday before the event for those wanting to get their hands on pellets early doors!
Every WHFTA competitor will also receive WHFTA 2025 merchandise in the form of a “goody” bag on arrival at WHFTA 2025. We are still working on the exact items that will be within the goody bag, but we guarantee WHFTA 2025 competitors will not be disappointed. We know for certain that it will contain the much-coveted metal WHFTA pin badge which is colour coded for each year. Some HFT’ers have a huge collection of these different coloured badges from over the years!
The final piece of the WHFTA jigsaw is that we collectively get to do a service to the wider airgun community. Events such as WHFTA 2025 do go a huge way towards enhancing the positive profile of airgun shooting. So let’s all be part of something larger than ourselves for our very unique community!
