Watch this space and our website for further announcements and content. Team WHFTA We have learnt that the Countryside Rocks Show that was to host our 2021 WHFTA competition at Weston Park has now been cancelled and has rebooked Weston Park for 2022. We cannot therefore run the WHFTA round this year at Weston Park. We will be returning to Weston Park in September 2022.
We will however be running a WHFTA event entitled the WHFTA 2021 British Open at Emley Moor FTC over the same weekend 18th and 19th September 2021. This will be run exactly like previous WHFTA events; with 2 courses shot over the 2 days, with a maximum of 360 shooters. Already our good friends at Air Arms have confirmed that they will sponsor the event with prizes and something for each competitor, plus as we are now in a more certain position we hope to get more sponsors on board. As always there will also be cash prizes in the raffle. For people who have yet to enter we will be open bookings in the very near future, so please keep your eyes peeled on our WHFTA Facebook page, Shooting the Breeze and on our website; whfta.org If you had already booked 2020 tickets you have the option to transfer the booking to the 2021 British Open or if you are not planning to attend this you can transfer your entry to the WHFTA 2022 event at Weston Park. More details on how to do this will follow shortly. Here at Team WHFTA we are very excited at the prospect of hosting another world class event. What we can promise you is that although the venue has changed we see this as an opportunity to bring some further advancements to our event, so watch this space! After a very difficult year it will be great to get out shoot some tin chickens and meet old friends! Team WHFTA Entries have started to arrive, the form is available here....
